Bijan Gillani (Ed.D. 1994, USC) teaches educators on how they can provide their students with powerful and effective ways for learning, using the Internet and other technology. Gillani coordinates the university's graduate program in Educational Technology Leadership and teaches several courses, including "Human-Computer Interaction." He has consulted for NASA and is the author of Learning Theories and the Design of E-Learning Environments (University Press of America, Inc.) which introduces educators to effective learning methods via the Internet and other technology. In May 2002, Gillani was awarded a grant by the Chancellor’s Office of the California State University system to instruct K-12 teachers throughout the Bay Area on integrating technology into their curricula.
