Technical Requirements and Tools
To participate in online courses effectively, the following computer software and equipment are recommended:
- For the PC user:
- Windows® XP operating system or above
- Internet Explorer 8 ® or Firefox® 3.6 preferred
- For the Mac user:
- Apple® OSx version 10.5 or above
- Firefox® 3.6
- a fast and reliable Internet connection, preferable broadband (i.e., DSL or cable modem)
- updated anti-virus software such as McAfee® Virus Scan®
Computer software required for your class can be purchased online through the campus bookstore.
