Athletic Excellence
Since 1961, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers have won 82 Conference Championships, producing more than 200 All-Americans and Academic All-Americans. Plus, the Pioneers have taken home seven national collegiate championships.

Cal State East bay has returned to full membership in the NCAA Division II as of the 2011-2012 season. They are full members of the highly competitive California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Annually the 15 Cal State East Bay sports have produced qualifiers for post-season competition and student-athletes win regional and national athletic and academic awards.

Athletic Facilities
The Physical Education Complex houses a 3,500 seat gymnasium, two swimming pools, training rooms and a spacious weight room. Outdoor facilities include University Stadium for soccer, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, and a field house.
