Daily Tours at the Hayward Campus Welcome Center

Walking tours of the campus depart from the Welcome Center Monday-Friday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tours are led by a Student Ambassador, and visit academic facilities, campus landmarks and residence halls. Tours typically take 45-60 minutes. Please wear comfortable shoes. Reservations are requested; however, walk-ins are welcome. Make a reservation today!

Daily Tours at Concord Campus

Walking tours of the campus depart from the Transfer Center located in the Academic Services Building every fourth Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m. Tours are led by a student ambassador, and visit academic facilities and campus landmarks. Tours typically take 45-60 minutes. Please wear comfortable shoes. Reservations are requested; however, walk-ins are welcome.

Group Tours

Student groups are welcome to visit and tour our campuses. Advance reservations are required so that we may accommodate your tour group.

Hayward Campus Group Tours

If you are a high school, community college or early outreach counselor interested in scheduling a group tour, you may contact (510) 885-2556 to learn more about the tour program and to make a reservation. Group tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transportation and Parking

After a reservation has been confirmed an e-mail notice will be sent including a map with directions to the University, parking information, and bus driver guidelines. Cal State East Bay is also accessible by public transportation.

Please note that parking is strictly enforced. There are only three parking spots available to Welcome Center guests (along W. Loop Rd.) available on a first-come, first-served basis. If spaces are occupied, then guests must use metered parking or park in the general lots. To park in the general lots, guests must use exact change, the cost is $10 for a day permit.

Pre-Admission Counseling at the Hayward Campus Welcome Center

Pre-admission counseling is available to all prospective students at the Welcome Center on the Hayward Campus. During your appointment, an enrollment counselor will review your transcript and discuss your admissibility to the University.
