CSU Student Research Competition

The annual California State University Student Research Competition, which is held each spring at a California State University, provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to showcase a recently completed research project and to represent Cal State East Bay. This system-wide competition showcases outstanding research conducted by California State University (CSU) students in the full range of academic programs offered on the 23 campuses that comprise the CSU system.

Cash prizes are awarded for the most outstanding presentations. There are first and second place winners in both undergraduate and graduate categories.

Program Eligibility

Undergraduate or graduate students currently enrolled at Cal State East Bay, as well as alumni/alumnae who received their degrees in spring, summer, or fall 2008, are eligible and encouraged to apply. Travel expenses for the ten-member team of Cal State East Bay will be covered by the university.

To register for the program, please download a Student Delegate Registration Form and Permission to Publish form. These documents are also available in the hall outside of Warren Hall, Room 877 on the Hayward Campus. 

Office hours for faculty and students with questions about the program are available on the Hayward Campus.

All materials must be turned in by the application deadline to the Academic Programs and Graduate Studies (APGS) Office, Warren Hall 877, on the Hayward Campus.
