Community Scholarships K - O
Cal State East Bay students have many opportunities for scholarships offered by the community. They are administered by organizations other than Cal State East Bay: local businesses, charitable organizations, corporations, local Rotary Club, local Chambers of Commerce. Students apply for those in various ways (and meet various deadlines) to be considered. For students residing in San Mateo County for at least one year, minimum GPA of 2.7, and enrolled in a health care service career program with completed prerequisites. U.S. citizenship not required.

|Kaiser Permanente Nursing Student Scholarship||Must be enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment in an accredited ADN or BSN RN Program. |LSAT Prep Pre-law Scholarship||The Get Prepped LSAT prep scholarship is a merit-based grant of up to $1000 available awarded twice yearly to applicants who will apply to a U.S. or Canadian law school. Funds can be used to pay law school application fees, LSAT testing fees, test prep, or other relevant costs. |MPH Online Scholarship||
Two $1,000 merit-based scholarships available to Domestic, International & Developing Country MPH online and hybrid MPH students per calendar year. Open to new and continuing education MPH students.
|James Madison Graduate Fellowship||Offers pre-service as well as in-service teachers of government and history up to $24,000 to complete a Master's degree in fields related to the U.S. Constitution; among upper classmen and recent graduates who plan to become secondary school social studies teachers.||jamesmadison.gov|

|National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators (NHCSL)||Hispanic college students majoring in targeted STEM fields to achieve educational success. |New American Scholars Program||E4FC's (Educators for Fair Consideration) New American Scholars Program provides financial awards and support services to low income immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who live or attend school in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide scholarships of up to $5,000 to cover tuition and other expenses. Scholars are selected for their academic excellence, financial need, community impact, and potential contribution to the E4FC community. |New Leader Scholarship||
The New Leader Scholarship of the Marin Community Foundation annually awards scholarships of up to $8,000 which may be renewed. Applicants need not be Marin County residents to apply. Available to upper division (24+ units) students who have attended CSUEB, SFSU, SJSU, SSU, or UCB for at least one year and have a 3.5 GPA.
|NuEnergy Scholarship (PG&E)||$15,000 to three to five recipients. Primary address must be in a PG&E service territory; currently enrolled and returning for the following academic year; all majors eligible, STEM, environmental, business, or energy highly encouraged.||http://pge.onlineapplications.

|Nursing Scholarships||A searchable scholarship database created specifically for nursing students provided by nursing associations, educational institutions, foundations, for-profit/non-profit organizations, etc. These are relatively non-competitive scholarships compared to general/non-major specific scholarships. Some of the scholarships give preference to minority, veteran and disabled students. If you belong to such groups, you have a good chance of securing fund for your education from this list.|
