Community Scholarships T - Z
Cal State East Bay students have many opportunities for scholarships offered by the community. They are administered by organizations other than Cal State East Bay: local businesses, charitable organizations, corporations, local Rotary Club, local Chambers of Commerce. Students apply for those in various ways (and meet various deadlines) to be considered. |Tailhook Educational Foundation Scholarship||Must be a high school graduate accepted for undergraduate enrollment at an accredited college and natural, step, or adopted child or grandchild of a current or former (US Navy/US Marine Corps/US Coast Guard) Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Naval Air-crewman. Also eligible are individuals or children/grandchildren of individuals who are serving or have served on board a US Navy Aircraft Carrier in ship’s company or the Air Wing.|
|TELACU Education Foundation Scholarships||Scholarship is provided for low income, first-generation college students who are enrolled fulltime for the entire academic year. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.||http://telacu.com/site/en/home/education.html|

|Tuition Won’t Stop Me Scholarship||
Win $1,000 by sharing your advice for paying off student loans. Applicants create a short video offering their tips for managing student loans.

|U.S. Bank Scholarship Program||$1,000 scholarships to high school seniors planning to enroll in, or current, undergraduate students at an eligible two- or four-year college or university. |Washington Hospital Healthcare System Scholarship Opportunities||Several scholarships available to students residing within the Washington Township Health Care District. (Fremont, Newark, Union City, part of Hayward). Please see web site for more information.|
|Western Union Foundation Family Scholarship||The Family Scholarship Program supports two immigrant students from one family pursuing educational opportunities. Both applicants must have been born outside of the U.S. and have been living in the U.S. less than seven years.
|Brian White Academic Scholarship||
$1,000 scholarship award open to currently enrolled high school seniors and undergraduate students in the U.S.
|Women in International Trade||$2,000 to a (male or female) student interested in pursuing a career in international trade.
