William Randolph Hearst/CSU Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement
These awards recognize students who have overcome adversity, demonstrated financial need, and have attributes of merit including superior academic performance, exemplary community service, and significant personal achievements. Robert M. Odell Endowment
This scholarship is open to full time Cal State East Bay upper-division or graduate students in Public Administration with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Strong consideration is given to Public Administration majors specializing in finance, and to first generation college students. For more information, please see the CSU Scholarship web site.

Angelina Aliberti & Lawrence L. Ruggie Endowed
Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be satisfactorily pursuing a course of study in the humanities, including law and the field of social work, but excluding military sciences. Scholarships are awarded on a rotational basis to all 23 campuses. Two $1,350 scholarships are awarded. For more information see the CSU Scholarship web site. This scholarship is not available at Cal State East Bay in 2012-2013.
Dale M. Schoettler Scholarship for Visually Impaired Students
The $6,000 award provides assistance for full-time students at CSU campuses who are declared legally blind. CSU undergraduates or graduate students in any major field are eligible with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale. For more information see the CSU Scholarship web site. Wilson C. Riles Education Scholarship
Five scholarships of $1,000 are available for first generation college students enrolled in a CSU teaching credential program. The scholarships rotate between all 23 campuses on an alphabetical basis. For more information see the CSU Scholarship web site.

Graduate Equity Fellowships
To apply for a Graduate Equity Fellowship, the student must be a California resident, have been admitted to a Masters program, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 while receiving the fellowship, must enroll in at least 8 units per quarter, must submit a FAFSA and show financial need, and must demonstrate potential to succeed in Graduate school. Glen and Dorothy Dumke Fellowship
One fellowship of $1,200 is awarded. The purpose of this fellowship is to encourage student scholars to engage in graduate work in fields such as public policy, American history, economics, archival management, and government. Preference will be given to projects that involved research about the State of California. The winning scholar is expected to pursue research projects within special CSU library/archival collections.
