Services for Students with Disabilities
Cal State East Bay provides a variety of services for students with temporary or permanent disabilities.
The Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC)
Students with disabilities may receive accommodations by registering with the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC). Students with temporary or permanent documented disabilities are provided classroom accommodations, standardized test accommodations and other assistance.
To apply for accommodations, complete the Accommodations Request Form each quarter after you register, with a printout of your class schedule attached. Forms are available at the SDRC Office. E-mail us for more information at sdrc@csueastbay.edu.

Accessible Technology
Students who need assistance with disability accommodations can find accessible technology at the Library. Assistive technology computer lab and training are also available through Project Impact.
Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
To receive accommodations for standardized tests such as the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Math test (ELM), register with the Testing Office at Warren Hall Room 400 on the Hayward Campus. Call (510) 885-3661 or visit the Testing Office website.
Project Impact
Project Impact offers support services, assistive technology and training, financial aid and scholarship information, and wellness counseling to qualifying students with disabilities. SDRC registered students may contact their SDRC counselor for a referral to this program. Project Impact also administers the WorkAbility-IV Program on the Hayward Campus in collaboration with the Career Development Center and the California Department of Rehabilitation.

EXCEL Program
The EXCEL Program offers eligible students in-depth, long-term academic support throughout their undergraduate and graduate education. Assistance is available in a variety of areas including academic advising, career development, personal counseling, tutoring, learning skills and scholarship information. As a disabled student registered with the SDRC, you may be eligible for this program. Learn more at the EXCEL Program website.
The EXCEL Office is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and is located in the Library Complex Room 2450 on the Hayward Campus.
