Federal Workstudy Position
Job Title: Student Assistant II or III
Department: Counseling and Psychological Services, CaPS – located in the Student Health Center
Expected Salary Range: $11.00-12.00/HR
Job Description:
This is a 6 or 7 hour a week job, the main responsibility is delivering the CaPS A-Frames to specified locations around campus and picking them up in the afternoon. The student must be available to do this between 8:30-9:30 AM and 4:00-5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Other responsibilities may include assisting the counselors and front desk staff with preparation of outreach materials and helping at outreaches, assisting with topical research on psychological issues, researching local agencies and keeping our referral lists up to date.
Other work as assigned can be on campus errands, posting flyers; depending on capabilities and interests of the student, assisting in designing flyers and outreach materials.
Desirable Qualifications:
This job requires a person who is very dependable and available to work the hours above.
Excellent written and spoken English is required for preparing materials, interacting with local agencies and preparing referral lists.
Special Instructions / Training Requirements:
The applicant must be licensed to drive in California, and will be required to complete the online CSU Defensive Driving course.
