Off-Campus Housing
Finding suitable Bay Area Housing can be a difficult, but not an impossible task. The Student Housing and Residence Life Office provides a number off-campus housing resources for Students, Staff, and Faculty to support them in their search. Those services are:

To view our in-house information, please come by the Housing Office at El Dorado Hall, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 10 PM during the academic year, and 8 AM to 5 PM during the summer.
Online Off-Campus Housing Listing Service
California State University East Bay Housing & Residential Life Department is pleased to announce that we have implemented a new Online Off-Campus Housing (OCH) listing service free for students, staff, and faculty. Our new service will provide:
- Online listings for rentals in the Hayward area and throughout the Bay Area.
- Roommate Finder to match up students who are looking for both a place to live and a roommate to share with.
- Local Property Managers and Landlords have the ability to advertise to current and future students via the internet.
Students, Staff, and Faculty: This service is free for you to browse through available property and roommate listings. You can also list properties and create your own roommate listings for free. If you need additional free listings, after your initial one, please call David at (510) 885-7444, Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.
Landlords and Property Owners: Your initial listing is free of charge If you wish to list again Electronic Media Groups (EMG) offers a monthly listing of $19.95 per month, or offers several packages to meet different listing needs.
The CSUEB Off-Campus Housing Online Listing Service can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days per week at http://www.eastbay.och101.com/.
