Community Partners
Alameda County Idependent Living Skills Program
Provides youth in foster care with independent living skills training to assist in their transition to a successful, independent lifestyle.
Alameda County Foster Youth Alliance
A coalition of youth, service providers, and community organizations, Foster Youth Alliance is dedicated to empowering foster youth as they transition to adulthood. FYA promotes a seamless system of services in Alameda County, California, through maximum coordination, strong advocacy and strategic resource development.
Beyond Emancipation
Administers a full service health center, provides transitional housing, and links former foster youth to education, job training, mentors and other housing.
Chabot College
Chabot Community College provides a direct pipeline for CSUEB transfer students.
First Place for Youth
Promotes long-term self-sufficiency among emancipated foster youth by providing them with the skills, resources, and support to make a successful transition to adulthood.
Fostering Futures
Fostering Futures was founded to provide scholarships and other support to former foster youth throughout California who have proven themselves scholastically and have demonstrated the motivation and perseverance required to carry them into successful adulthood.
Northern California Foster Youth Consortium
The NCFYC is comprised of all campus-based foster youth support programs from Northern California. The respective Coordinators from each campus convene at least twice a year to share best practices and strategies on program funding, development, and implementation.
One Child
One Child is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing disadvantaged children with new clothing and school supplies. One Child began in Fremont, California and now serves families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
