Gain the Summer Bridge Advantage!
Summer Bridge (SB) at California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) is a five-week quality academic transition program especially designed to improve the EOP freshmen students’ first year experience at the University with year round Student Academic Services.
- It's a program that combines academic coursework with an introduction to the campus community
- You'll have the opportunity to meet your EOP counselor, make new friends, and get oriented to the University and its many resources
- You'll strengthen your skills in math and writing, have fun, and if you're selected to participate, it's all free!!! This includes classes, books, tutoring, academic advising and extracurricular activities.

The three-day orientation session and the five-week instructional program will take place on the Hayward campus.
How Do I Apply ?
- Submit the online CSU Undergraduate Application
on the CSU Mentor website (www.csumentor.edu) with $55.00 or Fee Waiver by between Oct 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010, and mark "Yes" to the EOP application question - Submit official high school transcripts
(with 8th semester courses) and SAT/ACT in February, between January 1, 2010 and April 30, 2010 - Submit EOP Forms between October 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010
- Apply for Financial Aid as soon as possible after January 1, 2010 and no later than March 2, 2010
- Register to take the EPT/ELM test at a local CSU campus as soon as possible, but before May, 2010.
- Notify the EOP Admissions Office that you want to attend Summer Bridge. Do so early!
- Call us to register for the Summer Bridge test and a personal interview.
For priority consideration for Summer Bridge, submit all admissions, EPT/ELM and EOP supplemental documents by April 30, 2010.
