Current Students

Current students are students who are currently enrolled either full or part time in a course of study at Cal State, East Bay and who have registered with SDRC for services.

All current SDRC students are assigned an SDRC counselor. Questions or concerns about changing your accommodations should be directed to your assigned SDRC counselor. This includes students participating in Project IMPACT. If you are not sure who your counselor is, or who you should contact about your question, just call, e-mail or visit SDRC for further guidance.

Current SDRC students have been issued a "Determination of Accommodations" form which officially documents their approved accommodations. If a current SDRC student wishes to change their accommodation (other than as stated on their "Determinations of Accommodations" form) they must first meet with their SDRC counselor and discuss their request before any final decisions can be made.

All current SDRC students are required, by law, to take an active role in the determination and management of their accommodations.

Caution: Accommodations cannot be retroactively applied. If you fail a class and needed disability related accommodations that were not already documented in your "Determination of Accommodations" form; the lack of these accommodations cannot excuse a grade.
