Join the Peer Advising Leaders (PALs)
Help new first year students as a peer advisor!
The UAC believes that Peer Advising Leaders (PALs) are an indispensable part of the services we offer at the UAC. Working directly with and supervised by an academic counselor, peer advisors provide general information to undergraduate students regarding freshmen clusters during fall orientations. PALs gain practical skills and experience in the areas of advising.
New PALs are selected in January via an application and interview process.
To apply, or for more info about becoming a Peer Advising Leader, contact David Yang, Academic Counselor at the UAC, Student Services Hub, Room 1131 or at (510) 885-4682.
