RAW Facilities
Membership includes access to the following facilities:
- Locker Rooms: Free day use lockers (first-come, first serve). Includes Bath Towel Service (visit Equipment Rental)
- Fitness Center: 10,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art facility (includes fitness towel service)
- Gymnasium: Available for open play when not reserved
- Indoor Track: Walking or jogging (14 Laps = 1 mile)
- Fitness studios: Available for use when not reserved
Membership MAY include access to the following services at a low or no cost (refer to program-specific policies and procedures):
- The Wellness Center
- Massage Therapy "CSUEB Students only"
- Health Education Resource Center
- Workshops and Classes
- Equipment Rental
- Locker Rental (quarterly)
- Sporting Equipment
- Fitness Classes
- Other Leagues, Tournaments, Workshops and Special Events
Membership Eligibility
Rules and Regulations:
1. A Recreation and Wellness Center Membership can be purchased by anyone ages 18 and over.
2. Memberships to the Recreation and Wellness Center require a parent or guardian signature for anyone less than 18 years of age.
3. Facility closures do not entitle the member to any type of compensation or refund under any circumstance.
4. The Member shall be subject to control and guidance of the Recreation and Wellness Center staff, and the member agrees to conduct his or herself in a well- mannered fashion in or about the facilities to all users. All members must abide by all Recreation and Wellness Center Facility Policies, Procedures, Rules, and Regulations.
5. Failure of the member to use the Recreation and Wellness Center for any reason or for any length of time shall not entitle the member to a refund of any membership fees paid.
6. An annual waiver must be signed at time of registration for all current members and guests. (The Recreation and Wellness Center Waiver is set annually from the Fall Quarter until the following Summer Quarter.)
7. All eligible members must present a CSUEB Bay Card or RAW Membership Card with a legal form of photo identification at time of entry. Access will not be permitted without a Bay Card (a legal form of government issued photo identification can be substituted) or a RAW Membership Card with a legal form of photo identification.
a. RAW Membership Cards are only available to those who are not eligible by CSUEB administrative requirements to purchase a Bay Card. All others must purchase a Bay Card or use other government issued identification.
8. Eligible members may purchase day passes as an alternative to a membership. Photo identification must be presented to purchase a day pass. Day Pass users are only eligible for general facility usage, Fitness Classes and Equipment Checkout.
9. The Recreation and Wellness Center Membership does not include parking for on-campus lots and locations. Valid Parking Permits must be purchased through the University at the appropriate designated locations on campus.
Fee Schedule
- One (1) month memberships expire one month after the purchase date (e.g.
membership purchased on June 29th expires on July 29th).
- Quarterly memberships expire at the end of each quarter. It is up to the member’s
discretion on at which date during the quarter they will purchase their Quarterly memberships. The Recreation and Wellness Center does not prorate any membership fees at time of purchase.

Refunds
- Memberships are non-transferrable, non-refundable and membership fees cannot be prorated at time of purchase.
- Recreation and Wellness Center membership type eligibility requirements are outlined below:
I. Currently Enrolled Students:
a. CSUEB students currently enrolled in one or more classes with the “UU Rec Fee” listed as part of their tuition fees
II. Fee Waiver Students:
a. CSUEB students currently enrolled and NOT paying the “UU Rec Fee” (as
part of tuition fees).
i. These students must provide proof of status (e.g. class schedule) at time of registration for one or more of the following classifications:
1. Concord campus students
2. Online-only students
3. New students enrolled in the upcoming quarter
4. Previously enrolled students on an academic break
5. University staff also enrolled as students
6. Students enrolled in a Certification Program
III. Non-Matriculating Students:
a. CSUEB students enrolled in courses but not pursuing a degree.
i. The following are included in this classification:
1. Students enrolled through Continuing Education or certification programs
2. American Language Program students
3. Post-Baccalaureate students
IV. Guests:
a. Must be sponsored by a current Member of the Recreation and Wellness
Center
b. Must be 18 years of age or older
c. Must provide government issued photo identification
d. Sponsor must be present at time of purchase
e. Must pay a registration fee – Only eligible for a Day Pass at this time
f. Must provide proof of purchase (receipt) for re-entry
