Multiple Courts of RAW fun!
The Gymnasium is used for open sport play anytime that there is no programs taking place. Intramural Sport League games such as basketball, indoor soccer, dodgeball, volleyball, and badminton take place in this gym.
Gymnasium Rules
Any person(s) using the gym for open play during non programmatic times agrees to abide within the following policies and procedures, as well as complying with the decisions made by RAW Center Staff.

The use of profanity, abusive language, threatening gestures, excessive arguing or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated within the Recreation and Wellness (RAW) Center. All persons engaging in such behavior will be asked to leave the RAW Center and may risk loss of utilization privileges.

ATHLETIC NON MARKING COURT SHOES ARE ALWAYS REQUIRED IN THE GYMNASIUM. BLACK SOLE SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED.

Equipment for Open Recreation is available for check out through the Equipment Rental Office. (Please refer to the equipment check out policies and procedures for specifics regarding this service).

During open recreation, court space in the gymnasium is on a first come first serve basis.

Proper gym attire is required at all times. Jean pants or shorts are not permitted to be worn during physical activity.

For your safety and the safety of those around you, hanging on the rims or net and slapping of the gym backboards is not permitted.

In the event that participants are waiting to play, the current game should continue no longer than 10 minutes.

Do not spit on the gym floor.

Frisbees, footballs, baseballs, and soccer balls are not allowed for use within the gym, unless approved by ASI Recreation Staff.

All personal belongings should be stored in the free day lockers available in the both the men’s and women’s locker rooms. ASI Recreation is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items. Personal belongings are not permitted on the gymnasium floor.

Spectators must watch from the gymnasium seating.

Should any injury occur while in the gymnasium, contact the Equipment Rental Staff immediately.
