Pioneer Wellness Challenge

The Pioneer Wellness Challenge is a workshop series designed to help CSUEB students make healthier choices in their everyday lives! Print out the wellness card and bring it with you to each session to collect your stamps of participation. 

Challenge yourself to participate in all 6 wellness workshops that focus upon topic areas that impact the lives of college students.

Alcohol & Consent

  • Wanna Party? - How do you party without the drama? Learn how alcohol affects the body, what you can do to prevent a hangover, keep from throwing up, avoid drug interactions, and how to help your friends.

  • Blurred Lines - This is a power-based personal violence education program conducted in collaboration with Student Life & Leadership. Learn how to keep the lines of consent clear ~ especially when alcohol/drugs are involved.

Nutrition/Fitness

  • Food 4 Thought - Check out this nutrition workshop to find out how to choose healthier snacks, make wiser choices while eating on campus, navigate the MyPlate website, use SuperTracker, and east balanced meals!

  • PAW in the DC - Visit the PAW Approved table in the Dining Commons. We are helping students make healthier choices through making the most of your meal plan, choosing better serving sizes, games, & more!

Sexual Health

  • Get Yourself Tested - Join us for snacks, music, and discussions. learn about misconceptions and stigma associated with Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's) and how to get tested on campus!

  • The Playbook: Guide to Safer Sex -  This workshop is your guide to make safer decisions about your sexual health and keep things exciting at the same time. Discuss game plans to stay safe & campus resources.
