The Health Promotion Department at Student Health & Counseling Services helps students make healthier choices in their lives by offering a wide range of health education and prevention services. In addition to our clinics and events, we have educational resources and services that are conveniently available and free!

Clinics
Our Health Educators and Peer Educators hold free individual educational sessions for the following health topics:
Brief Alcohol Screening Intervention for College Students (BASICS)
Brief Marijuana Screening Intervention for College Students (BMSICS)

“The PAW Room”
Our Health Education Resource Room, also known as “The PAW Room”, is located next to the Health Promotion Staff Offices, and offers variety of health education materials.
We have videos, health books, journals, newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, and community resource guides on various topics for your use or check-out. A computer workstation is available to assist students in researching various health topics.
Condoms
The Health Promotion Department has a limited supply of free condoms. Regularly enrolled students are eligible to receive 3 free condoms per day. Students who need additional condoms may sign up for the Family PACT program. Stop by the Health Promotion Department to pick one up!
We offer CROWN Lubricated Condoms and Trojan Magnum Lubricated Condoms. For students allergic to latex, we offer Durex Avanti Condoms.
KISS'n Corner
Watch for the KISS'n Corner, a mobile cart, stocked with free safer sex products at different locations around campus. You can get free lubricant and condoms along with educational materials and find out about the free sexual health services that Student Health & Counseling Services can offer you.
