Fees and Fee Payment

Cal State East Bay requires fee payment, or a secured financial aid award, by the indicated deadline for each quarter term. Cost of attendance is based on the number of course units attempted and your residency status. A variety of fee payment options make it convenient for you to pay online, in person, and by mail. You may pay in full or pay by installments with our fee payment plan. Be sure to pay your fees in full by the fee payment deadlines, or your classes may be subject to disenrollment.

Fee Information

Fees are based on the number of units of coursework for which you are enrolled, and your residency status. The residency status classifications are California resident, non resident, and students from neighboring western states who apply for and are accepted into the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program. In addition to University fees, there are other campus-based fees, individual course fees, housing fees, meal plan fees and other miscellaneous activity fees.

Fees are Subject to Change

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.

Disclaimer – Cost of Collection for Unpaid Tuition and Fees
