Fee Installment Plan

Cal State East Bay offers students a Fee Installment Plan to allow you to pay your fees in three separate payments. This plan is not available for students who have approved financial aid.

How to Pay in Installments

To pay in installments, complete and sign the appropriate Fee Installment Plan, and send it with your first payment by the fee payment due date. See the complete fees, agreement details and payment due dates printed on the Contract form.

California Residents

California Resident students can defer State University Fees by downloading and completing the appropriate Fee Installment Plan form.

Your Installment Plan contract is not effective until the Accounting Office, (Warren Hall, Room 645), receives both of the following:

     1. The signed Contract, which can be faxed to (510) 885-4244.
     2. The first payment, which can be made online by ACH or credit card, by mail, or in person at the Cashier’s Office.

Installment Plan Payment Due Dates

Students are responsible for making installment payments by the following due dates:

Winter Quarter 2010:

  • December 16, 2009
  • January 16, 2010
  • February 16, 2010

During Late Registration for Winter Quarter (December 17, 2009 - January 15, 2010), the first installment payment is due when the form is submitted.

Non-Resident or International Students

Non-Resident or International students can pay in installments by completing a “Tuition Deferment Payment Plan” at the Accounting Office, Warren Hall Room 645 on the Hayward Campus. The Accounting Office prepares each plan individually based on the number of units in which you are enrolled.

Winter Quarter 2010

The first payment due is for the California Resident fees for Winter 2010, and must be paid by December 16, 2009. The Non-resident tuition and fee amount, plus a 15% surcharge, is then equally divided in two payments due January 16, 2010 and February 16, 2010.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Students

Students in the WUE program may pay in installments by downloading and completing the appropriate Fee Installment Plan for WUE students shown above; be sure to select the right form for the appropriate quarter term. Read the form for complete details and instructions for submission.
