Community Scholarships T - Z
Cal State East Bay students have many opportunities for scholarships offered by the community. They are administered by organizations other than Cal State East Bay: local businesses, charitable organizations, corporations, local Rotary Club, local Chambers of Commerce. Students apply for those in various ways (and meet various deadlines) to be considered. |Tailhook Educational Foundation Scholarship||Must be a high school graduate accepted for undergraduate enrollment at an accredited college and natural, step, or adopted child or grandchild of a current or former (US Navy/US Marine Corps/US Coast Guard) Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Naval Air-crewman. Also eligible are individuals or children/grandchildren of individuals who are serving or have served on board a US Navy Aircraft Carrier in ship’s company or the Air Wing.|
|Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship||Two (2) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000 scholarships, to be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students with a 3.0 GPA and a declared major of biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life-science field.||http://www.pierce-antibodies.
|Tuition Won’t Stop Me Scholarship||
Win $1,000 by sharing your advice for paying off student loans. Applicants create a short video offering their tips for managing student loans.
|Tutor the People Essay Scholarship||$500 scholarship offered to high school students in their senior year and undergraduates with a GAP of 3.0 or higher.|
|U.S. English Foundation||$1,500 awarded to an American graduate student who wish to continue their education with postgraduate study, focusing on the teaching of English as a Second Language (ESL) for practical application in the United States.||http://usefoundation.org/view/27|

|The Wallin & Klarich Scholarship||$3,000 award available to a graduating college senior in California, who will be attending an accredited law school in California. |Washington Hospital Healthcare System Scholarship Opportunities||Several scholarships available to students residing within the Washington Township Health Care District. (Fremont, Newark, Union City, part of Hayward). Please see web site for more information.|

|Western Union Foundation Family Scholarship||The Family Scholarship Program supports two immigrant students from one family pursuing educational opportunities. Both applicants must have been born outside of the U.S. and have been living in the U.S. less than seven years.

$1,000 scholarship award open to currently enrolled high school seniors and undergraduate students in the U.S.
|Wholesale Halloween Costumes Scholarship Award||
A $500 award available to students currently enrolled at an accredited two or four year college in the United States, and winner of pumpkin carving contest.
|Women in International Trade||$2,000 to a (male or female) student interested in pursuing a career in international trade.
