Before Registering for Classes

Before enrolling in classes, check your To Do List in MyCSUEB to check for any possible holds on your registration, and to finish any required items you may have not yet completed. Obtain any necessary academic advising to determine the courses you need to meet the requirements of your degree program. Meet with any special program advisors in your major and minor departments, and the offices for EXCEL, EOP, Project Impact, General Education, graduate students, international students, or athletics as required on the advising table shown below.

Review the registration policies and remove any holds you may have on your account. Check the Important Dates page for fee deadlines and enrollment dates. Be sure to make your payment on time; all amounts due the University are due by the payment deadline.

Academic Advising

Students may receive advising from faculty and staff by contacting the appropriate office or offices shown in the table. Depending on your program and individual needs, you may need to get advising from more than one office.
