Declaring or Changing Majors, Minors, or Options
Declaring a major or minor in writing is an important step in establishing your student record and is a requirement for you to earn your progress toward your degree and to graduate. To declare a major, complete the Change of Major Minor or Option Form or obtain the form in the Student Information Lobby located on the first floor of Warren Hall. When you submit this form you should also contact your academic department to select a major advisor and to make an academic plan for graduation.
Changing your major, minor or option is possible for undergraduates, second bachelor’s degree students, and graduate students. Changes made to your primary major will be posted to MyCSUEB, but will not be visible in MyCSUEB until the following quarter term.
Undergraduate and Second Bachelor’s Degree Students
Undergraduate students who wish to change their major, minor, or option may use the Change of Major Minor or Option Form, and turn in the completed form to the Student Information Lobby in Warren Hall on the Hayward Campus or the Academic Services Center on the Concord Campus. Graduate Students
Graduate Students who wish to change their degree objective must use the Change of Graduate Objective Form. Turn in the completed form to the Student Information Lobby in Warren Hall on the Hayward Campus or the Academic Services Center on the Concord Campus.
