Planning, Design and Construction
The Planning, Design and Construction Department (PDC) is responsible for all new campus facilities, as well as the renovation of existing facilities on campus. PDC also develops and implements the Campus Master Plan.
A Building Permit is required for all campus construction projects and is issued by the Deputy Building Official. Please complete a Building Permit Application and submit to the Planning, Design & Construction Department.
The PDC Department is responsible for managing the design and construction of all projects on campus, ranging from minor renovations and improvements to multi-story, multi-million dollar projects. Projects with a construction value less than $600,000 are categorized as Minor Capital Projects, while projects with a construction value greater than $600,000 are considered Major Capital Projects. The Department is also responsible for ensuring code compliance and life safety for all projects.

Planning & Design
PDC is responsible for the development and implementation of the Campus Master Plan through the capital improvement program. The Department also prepares special planning studies, develops the annual 5-Year Capital Improvement Program, and is responsible for the management of space on campus.
