Termination of Access (Normal Termination)
Request for normal termination of access to a system or termination of an account.
Requests for normal termination of access are handled in a routine manner. In general, there is a waiting period of 15 days before any action is taken. After that period, access is removed or is set to a self-service level, or accounts are disabled. For students, self-service access is continued for two quarters, while they are eligible to register for classes. For Emeriti faculty members, e-mail access is maintained indefinitely.
