Public Transportation

All three Cal State East Bay campuses are easily accessible by major freeways and public transportation. The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), Alameda-Contra Costa Transit (AC Transit) and Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) systems are the most popular forms of public transportation to CSUEB. For information regarding fares and individual transit schedules, please visit the BART, AC, and CCCTA websites.
Hayward Hills Campus
Students, faculty, and staff can ride AC Transit Bus 92 for free from the Hayward BART station to CSUEB by showing their University ID card.

CSUEB Oakland
The Professional Development & Conference Center, located at 1000 Broadway, Suite 109, is easily accessible by BART. The Center is located across the street from the Oakland City Center/12th Street BART Station; be sure to exit the station using the 11th Street Exit. From the Oakland City Center/12th Street BART station, or from other parts of Oakland, take AC Transit buses # 13, 40, 43, 58, 72, or 88.
CSUEB Concord Campus
The Concord Campus is accessible from the Central County bus system and from BART via the County Connection bus. Disembark at the Concord BART station and board the #10 bus.
During commute hours an express bus is available from Antioch/Pittsburg via the 93x bus.
