Dining on Campus

Students may select from a variety of dining locations and meal plan options on campus. Enjoy the new Dining Commons overlooking the San Francisco Bay, or explore the variety of food services offered in the Student Unions.

Student Meal Plans

Freshmen who live on campus are required to purchase a meal plan as part of their housing contract. Meal plans are also available to any students living on or off campus. Meal Plans include a set number of meals per week, plus flex cash to use at other food service areas on campus. For more information visit: Meal Plans, Menus and Costs

Students may purchase Meal Plans at the Campus Dish Web site, or in person at the Dining Commons.

Pioneer Heights Dining Commons

The Dining Commons at Pioneer Heights offers meals during the week from morning to evening, including healthy foods and vegetarian selections. A variety of salads, hot foods, desserts and many other choices are available. An after hours cafe offers beverages and food for late night convenience.

University Union Food Service

The University Union on the Hayward Campus offers dining during the week from morning to evening, including healthy foods and vegetarian selections. A variety of themed restaurants serve hot meals, salads, sandwiches, and specialty beverages.

Convenience Food Services

Groceries, ready-to-eat foods, snacks, and convenience products are available at the Union Exchange in the Union. This shop is great for stocking your in-room fridge on the weekend, or to grab a snack to go. ATM cash machines are available at the University Union and the University Bookstores.

Concord Campus Food Service

The Concord Campus offers convenience foods at the Concord Cafe and Bookstore, located inside the Student Union Building. You'll find hot and cold drinks, a variety of delicious sandwiches, wraps, and salads available from morning to evening.
