Health and Wellness

Student health and wellness is a priority at Cal State East Bay. From recreation and sports facilities, to health care or counseling on campus, students can find what they need to stay healthy.

Student Health Services

Our Student Health Services is a fully accredited outpatient clinic staffed by Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses. Student Health Services offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services.  The Counseling and Psychological Services clinics provide individual, couples and group counseling, outreach services and urgent care. 

Immunizations for Incoming Students

Immunizations against Measles, Rubella, and Hepatitis B are required for all students being admitted to Cal State East Bay. Submit your Immunization form with your application documents. For more information, see Immunization Requirements at the Student Health Web site. International students are required to have the Tuberculosis (TB) skin test.

Fitness Classes and Teams

Choose from many fitness and recreation activities at Cal State East Bay. The Physical Education complex houses a 3,500 seat gymnasium, two swimming pools, training rooms, basketball courts and a spacious weight room with cardio and strength training equipment. Outside facilities include the University Stadium for soccer, softball and baseball fields, tennis courts, and a running track. Visit Fitness Classes and Intramural Teams for more information.
